21st Century Chiropractic

When it comes to clients or patients, I've always been a little overprotective. I am constantly keeping up to date on research and discoveries to enhance the healing response of patients.

I recently integrated a new technique that is generating legendary results in the chiropractic profession and transforming the results in alternative healthcare. It is a blend of innovative technology and maximum efficiency that delivers a remarkable experience offering our patients improved comfort during their chiropractic adjustment.

History of Chiropractic

Throughout the 1950's and 60's chiropractic was rejected and considered quackery. In the 1970s it was criticized and labeled unconventional. In the 1980s it was resisted, and then perceived as only alternative. In the 1990s it was acknowledged as complementary. Today it is considered part of mainstream healthcare and embraced as the medicine of the future.

The healing art of chiropractic was discovered in the United States during the late 1800’s. However, the technique of spinal and soft tissue mobilization to assist in the correction of health problems occurred over 5,000 years earlier in Asia. This was called Tui Na. If you look closely at the images in the upper left corner of this website, you will see photos taken from the breast plate of a tortoise shell dating back 3,000 years. They show spinal treatments as an ancient healing art.

WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?

Your body contains trillions of cells directly controlled by the brain and under the influence of the nerves that flow throughout your body.

The bones in your spine (24 vertebrae) protect your spinal cord as the electrical currents travel up and down your spinal cord to and from the brain. Irritation (nerve impingement) on the nerves occurs when these vertebrae are not moving properly or are out of their normal position (subluxation). Doctors of chiropractic detect and correct subluxations to allow proper flow of the nerve impulses throughout the spine.
"Doctors are trained to treat the diagnosis and not the patient. When they experience a disease it can become their teacher and reveal to them their healing potential. Read and learn from the wisdom contained here."
- Bernie Siegel M.D.author of Love, Medicine & Miracles & Faith, Hope & Healing

"The techniques Dr. Aristotle shares will have a positive impact throughout your healing quest."
- Jack Canfield, co-author, The Success Principals TM and the bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

Pain is one sign that your body isn’t working properly.

Whether you have too much physical, chemical or emotional stress, a reaction occurs in your body which results in the contraction of your muscles. This results in a “fixation” or “locking” of spinal joints and nerve irritation. If untreated, this self-protective mechanism can result in ill health or pain.

If spinal joints become fixed, the only way to allow your body to repair itself is to apply a precise soft tissue adjustment to specific areas of the spine. The body is then able to restore proper nerve conduction and joint function. With repeated visits, health usually will return and symptoms subside at which point the frequency of visits is reduced.

Prior to any adjustment a thorough medical history and physical examination is required to locate areas of dysfunction called subluxations.
